The Modicon Managed Switch 8GE-TX is a POE managed Layer 2 switch from Schneider Electric’s Modicon Networking range. Designed for industrial environments, the device provides secure and flexible Ethernet integration, includes a compact DIN rail–mountable form factor, and supports the Ethernet TCP/IP protocol.

It provides various switching features, redundancy protocols, communication services, cybersecurity, industrial protocol profiles, and diagnostic functions. The switch mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail, consumes 106 W, and supports dual power input with 12–24 V DC. It operates from 0 °C to 60 °C with IP30 protection, and measures 122 × 144 × 117 mm at 1.40 kg. It is CE, UL, RCM, EAC, UKCA, DNV, FCC, CCCEx certified and meets IEC62443-4-2, UL 61010, EN/IEC 61131, and EN/IEC 62368-1 standards.
