The X551 Expert for Metal has an impressive material removal rate on metal surfaces. The zirconia alumina and semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive grit blend delivers a brilliant removal rate and lifetime on metal applications. Furthermore, its highly robust X-cloth with stable backing ensures durability and steady performances on tough surfaces. The grit is bonded using fully synthetic resin on X-cloth for optimal sanding behaviour. It is intended for deburring and welding preparation on carbon steel, mild steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and cast iron. It is also ideal for removing discolouration, stock and surface imperfections. The X551 Expert for Metal is compatible with angle grinders. It is available in angled or straight options on fibreglass or plastic carrier plates.
