This smart communication module for Modicon M262 motion controllers is designed to provide 4 additional Ethernet accesses to the controllers. TMSES4 benefits from cloud apps, analytics, allows connection to other Schneider/third-party cloud platforms with MQTT/HTTP protocols, JSON, TLS encryption. It embeds 4 Ethernet based networks (Ethernet/IP adapter, DHCP client, IEC VAR ACCESS, Modbus TCP server, SNMP, FTP client/server, SQL client, Web server. Modicon M262 are logic/motion controllers with embedded cloud connectivity, figuring cybersecurity capabilities, supporting monitoring, analytics and predictive maintenance. TMS4 smart communication module figures self speed adaptation (10, 100, 1000mbps), Half or full duplex service, and autocrossing (MDIO). It is possible to connect up to three Ethernet smart communication modules on a motion controller, the power supply is embedded on the communication bus. It measures 60mm width, 88mm depth, and 100mm height. It weighs 0.403kg. This controller is designed for machinery requiring integrated IIoT connectivity or encrypted communication.
