This counter module is part of the Modicon X80 range, an offer of common input/output for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This high speed counter module has 8 channels, 2 single mode inputs and 3 special dual phase mode inputs. The Modicon X80 automation platform complies with "TC" treatment requirements (treatment for all climates) and can operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. It is a counter module with an input voltage of 24V DC and a current consumption of 200mA at 3.3V DC bus, 80mA at 24V DC sensor. Counter functions are loop (modulo) counting, down counting, count events, 32bit counter counting etc. Its casing provides IP20 protection of the electronics. This module has a weight of 0.113kg. This product meets the needs of our customers from Smart Infrastructure, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Data centers and Power generation. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM, and EAC standards and is certified for Power Generation, Merchant Navy, Railway and Hazardous areas applications. This input compatible with 19.2V to 30V 2-wire/3-wire proximity sensor, incremental encoder with push-pull outputs, 10V to 30V totem pole. The product must be installed on the rack and fixed with 2 screws. Modicon X80 consists in a compatible modules common platform that reduce maintenance and training costs with same spare parts in stock, and unique training for different Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). Modicon X80 provides a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs.
