Vigilohm IM9-OL is an insulation monitoring device (IMD) permanently monitoring one offline equipment as per IEC 60364 requirements. According to standards, it is recommanded to equip your systems with Insulation Monitoring Devices (IMD). This device is dedicated to monitoring off line loads. It mesures the load insulation resistance by injecting a DC current between the network and ground. IM9-OL is versatile, adapting to networks resistance betwen 1k and 500 kOhm with an accuracy around 15% at 10 kOhm and 1 µF. To meet your applications, the device insulation alarm thresholds can be set between 250 kOhm and 10 MOhm. Once the alarm threshold is breached, it triggers an alarm that is relayed by 1 standard or fail-safe dry contact or by the local front face LED. A rotary switch on the front face defines whether or not a motor should be powered on if the insulation alarm threshold has been breached. It contributes to enhance people safety, limit installations damages and is mandatory for some building types in some countries. This IMD benefits installations where offline equipment cannot fail to power on in case of emergency (in TN, TT or IT earthing). The device can be supplied by a 110VAC to 415VAC or a 125VDC to 250VDC source, with 15% tolerance, plus or minus. It monitors offline equipment such as motors, fire pumps, ventilation systems or generators up to 690VAC. The relay can be manually tested with a self-test button to ensure that the monitoring of the offline equipment remains permanent. It has been designed according to EN/IEC 61557-8 product standard and has Marine certification. It can be DIN rail or flush-mounted to meet your installation. The HMI design makes it easy for the user to do device configurations, manual test, or to get informed about the device and network status.
